Painting job in Westerlo.

In the wind farm in Westerlo, a team of specialists has been working on a high-level job for the last few days. To stay in compliance with aviation regulations, an extra red line had to be painted on the blades.

Through a hatch, the team emerges from the front of the rotor. Using ropes, and plenty of safety precautions, they carefully lower themselves to the right height. After a fair bit of scrubbing and sanding, the painting can commence.

Not a job for the faint-hearted!
