Wind farm Geel is operational!
The 3 wind turbines of the Storm wind farm in Geel have, as of today, been connected to the grid. They will run their first rounds today and start producing plenty of energy!
216 inhabitants of Geel participate in the wind farm through the cooperative Storm CVBA.
Every year, the 3 wind turbines together produce 16,000 MWh, accounting for the annual consumption of 4,700 families.
